sister in wyoming found out she was preggers back in august and the fam and i just knew it was going to be a girl right from the start!

sister decided to wait until DECEMBER to announce the sex of the baby and i was just so anxious i couldn't even stand it...i had to know, i just couldn't wait one more month! so my mom and her devised the cutest plan of announcing. my mom asked me to bake cupcakes with her thanksgiving eve and when i went away leaving her to frost them she was able to stick little pink hershey kisses that said "it's a girl" in every single one of the cupcakes we had baked- too sneaky!! we had planned a skype date to see her and the kiddos before dinner, my mom gathered us all in the living room and i set sister down to see everyone, mom handed us all one cupcake each and when we bit into it, well...we got more than just a mouth full of chocolate! AAAAH so so so happy for my sister and her hubby AND their two boys!!! this marks the second baby niece in three years. i am THRILLED!

today i was super lucky enough to get the cutsey, gorgeous Lamar of Dolce Divino Salon and Spa in front of my camera! she is a TOTAL knockout and knows how to work for the camera so i had to do as little directing as possible, ha! it was great! Lamar i had such a fun time spending the whole day with you! it was fun, so we're doing it again, for sure, even if we don't take pictures! ;)

oh, and this is just part one, part two will take place later this month...downtown. can't wait! this is just a little taste...

i'm alive! i know i promised sunday, but shoot there was just TOO many photos i wanted to post and i didn't wanna make this HUGE post so i had to narrow it down to only a few and it took forrrrever but don't you worry, they're still great!

the party was absolute PERFECTION. everything worked out smoothly and the weather+light were also PERFECT. NOW, enough with the words, lets get to the good stuff, shall we?

I can't believe you're really almost THREE. it seems like just hours ago i was holding you in my arms busting with excitement because you were the FIRST little GIRL to enter the family since my birth. I remember thinking of allll the fun stuff i was going to be able to do with YOU. dressing you up, playing dolls, and the pictures... oh the pictures i was going to be able to take. with all that PINK!

there are so many things that i LOVE about you! 1) how protective and mature you are towards your little brother, Max. the way you help with bringing diapers for changing, handing me the bottles when he was crying because he was hungry, the way you would ask me questions with genuine concern when he would cry of crankiness. you are going to make a great mommy someday! :) 2) how GENUINE you are, and how nice. it's so special and sweet to me that you think little old me is special and worthy of so much of the love and attention YOU shower ME with! 3) how FUNNY you are! you are such a little ball of silly. i love how silly we are together! really, the list could go on and on...

you and i make a great team together baby. we are going to have so much FUN tomorrow at your princess party that you've only been talking about since you moved houses! happy three years sweet girl, and to three MORE(and actually more than three, a lifetime) of happy years just like the last! love you!

which, i can proudly say hasn't been more than a month! just felt the need to post a little something. oh, and if you're wondering why the pictures look REALLY really crisp, it's because somehow they were over sharpened in ps and i didn't feel like going back to fix it!

these flats. they are the most comfy pair i own and you can tell by the mud+color stains how much i love wearing them!

i am still CRAZY about this ring. i am fixated on it- and never let it out of sight!

it has been FOREVER since my last post, huh? plus, i was just plain out tired of seeing my face everytime i logged on haha i have great reasons for my leave of absense though, last saturday i got to SECOND SHOOT A WEDDING! aaaaaaaah, dream come true. =)

we had the perfect couple(i mean, these guys were hilarious; total goof balls and so down to earth), the weather was AMAZING [ and we all lucked out considering the next day it RAINED, and rained, and rained. (really, that much rain ha!)] it was such an incredible experience and i was so honored RACHEL had me along to help capture it all!
